Primitive Money (c. 200-100 BC), Swastika money, Gold, 0.19 g, 14 x 15 mm, a squarish clock-wise Swastika made from gold strings and joined at the centre to form the perfect shape of Swastika. Unusual shape to be found with coins, Extremely Fine+, Rare. The Gold Swastika was fished out from the right bank of the historical river Kshipra, near Mahakaal Temple at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh in early 1990s. Other finds along with the Swastika were copper punch-marked coins of Malwa Province and copper die-struck coins of Ujjayini, belonging to the period of c. 200-100 BC. ...
